Easwari Rao
Easwari Rao (born June 13, 1973) is an Indian actress who works across Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada cinema. She made her debut in the Tamil film *Kavithai Paadum Alaigal* (1990) and entered Telugu cinema with the drama *Kalikalam* (1991). During the 1990s and early 2000s, she starred in leading and supporting roles across films including *Rambantu* (1995), *Raman Abdullah* (1997), *Guru Paarvai* (1998), *Thavasi* (2001), *Virumbugiren* (2002), and *Bhadra* (2005). Rao later transitioned into prominent character roles in major releases, portraying Selvi in the action drama *Kaala* (2018), Nurse Sulochana in *Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo* (2020), and Farmaan's mother in the period action film *K.G.F: Chapter 2* (2022). She also co-produced the Tamil drama *Azhiyatha Kolangal 2* (2019). Her recent credits include the supernatural horror *Pindam* (2023), the investigative streaming series *Dhootha* (2023), the action drama *Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire* (2023), *Guntur Kaaram* (2024), and 2026 appearances in *Funky* and *Lenin*.
