On the verge of her eighteenth birthday, Lisa finds a small hole under her bed that grows wider and deeper every night. From that moment on, a hypnotic force seems to act on her subconscious, driving her to actions and gestures she is not fully aware of. While, as if by magic, all her desires begin to come true one by one, her life becomes haunted by night terrors and unsettling visions that push her to progressively lose herself in an indefinite zone between dream, vision, and reality. In trying to defend herself against the metaphysical attraction this force seems to have on her and her perfect bourgeois family, Lisa discovers that to achieve success and happiness in the society she lives in, certain "sacrifices" must be made.
